Miss Brea Scholarship Pageant

HOPEFULLS: Eight Miss Brea Scoharship Pageant winners were annonuced Sunday. They are Caitlin Smith, Shea Roldan, Ashley Sewell, Vanessa Atanay, Kelsey Dysart, Rochelle Cadiz, Aarika Munro-Steingraeber and Lindsay Dean.

    The 2008 Miss Brea Scholarship Pageant, a franchised local affiliate of the Miss America Pageant, hosted auditions Sunday at the Embassy Suites for Brea’s contest. Eight lovely girls participated and will now vie for the title of Miss Brea.
    Contestants are: Lindsay Dean, Caitlin Smith, Shea Roldan, Aarika Munro-Steingraeber, Kelsey Dysart, Vanessa Atanay, Rochelle Cadiz and Ashley Sewell.
    Brea Improv will host the pageant on March 10. Miss Brea will receive a $5,000 scholarship along with other prizes and the privilege to compete at the state level for the title of Miss California.
    The girls were judged in all of the traditional pageant categories: interview, formal wear, talent, swimsuit and on-stage question.

& the Miss Brea Scholarship Pageant in cooperation with the Brea Community Center

join forces to host a daytime pageant workshop experience and evening pageant production for girls in the local community between the ages of 5 - 16. The event will take place December 13, 2008 at the Brea Community Center. All traditional aspects of pageant competition will be addressed.

Contact the Brea Community Center or the Miss Brea Pageant for more details. There is a fee associated with participating in this program as well as attending the evening pageant production. Only individuals who complete the daytime class can participate in the evening production. Proceeds from this event go to support Children's Miracle Network and Victims of Domestic Violence.
