Miss Brea finalists named

March 10 scholarship pageant will be at Brea Improv

BREA — Eight girls were chosen as Miss Brea finalists to go on to the March 10 competition at the Brea Improv.

Lindsay Dean, Shea Roldan, Aarika Munro-Steingraeber, Kelsey Dysart,Vanessa Atanay, Rochelle Cadiz and Ashley Sewell will compete for the crown.

The finalists will be judged on an interview, formal wear, swimsuit wear, talent and an on-stage question.

The winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship and a chance to compete for the Miss California title in June.

& the Miss Brea Scholarship Pageant in cooperation with the Brea Community Center

join forces to host a daytime pageant workshop experience and evening pageant production for girls in the local community between the ages of 5 - 16. The event will take place December 13, 2008 at the Brea Community Center. All traditional aspects of pageant competition will be addressed.

Contact the Brea Community Center or the Miss Brea Pageant for more details. There is a fee associated with participating in this program as well as attending the evening pageant production. Only individuals who complete the daytime class can participate in the evening production. Proceeds from this event go to support Children's Miracle Network and Victims of Domestic Violence.
