Present a pageant workshop

experience for girls 5 – 16 years of age.

       Queen for a Day, is a mock beauty pageant workshop & evening production run by the queen and contestants of the Miss Brea Scholarship Pageant, a franchised affiliate of the Miss America Pageant and member of the Brea Chamber of Commerce.  The class will consist of a day of pageant      preparation and training workshops for young girls between the ages of 5 – 16.  Each participant will rotate through all workshops throughout the day.  The girls will receive hands on assistance in all aspects of traditional pageant competition to include information on hair and make-up, poise and etiquette, health/fitness, interview and on stage questions, swimsuit competition, talent presentation and formal wear.  The day will culminate with an evening mock pageant presentation for parents, friends and the community to attend.  The wonderful thing about the Queen for a Day program is that everyone walks away a winner and receives recognition for   participating in the days events.  All participants will receive a certificate, crown and sash.  Call (562) 824-2103 for registration information.

There is a fee associated with this event.  A portion of all proceeds go to support the Children's Miracle Network and Victims of Domestic Violence.
